GIE Media Inc. COVID-19 Response

As companies and organizations respond to the COVID-19 virus, we wanted to take a moment to update you on actions our team at GIE Media is taking to address the situation.

First, please know that our foremost concern is for all who've been directly impacted by the coronavirus, as well as the thousands of health care providers and first responders working the front lines to protect us all.

In terms of what GIE Media is doing, the following is a quick update.

Like many of our customers and readers, we are closely monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak and following the guidelines and recommendations of the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), and taking the necessary steps to ensure the health and safety of our customers and colleagues.

As a media company, we’re fortunate to have invested in systems and processes for a virtual workplace. Starting today, we’re maximizing social distancing with a work-from-home policy for a significant number of our team members. Our team is equipped with the technology and tools to fulfill our operational requirements remotely, including resources to host virtual meetings.

This is an extension of our business travel restriction, which includes all unnecessary travel. Our team is focused on delivering the same high-quality media products we’ve always produced through close ongoing communication and virtually hosting regularly scheduled meetings to meet deadlines.

We’re also in close contact with our printer and distribution partners. Our printer is a technologically advanced facility that relies upon a limited number of people in the plant. That provides them the opportunity to achieve social distancing for their team while maintaining printing operations. Currently we do not anticipate any interruptions in their service.

Our technology platforms to update our websites with industry news and market intelligence and to distribute our e-newsletters and host virtual conferences and webinars are advanced and fortified to ensure continuity of service for all our readers.

We’ll continue to closely monitor guidance from the CDC, as well as direction from federal, state and local authorities. We’re committed to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for our team while also providing our customers with the high level of service they are accustomed to receiving from us.

Service and communication are top priorities for us. Our team members are available through all the regular channels you are used to. If you need anything, call or e-mail. If we’re not available, we’ll get back to you promptly. We remain committed to providing the exceptional service you’ve come to expect from us.

Stay safe as we navigate through the following days and weeks.
